Has anyone a touch of informational background to this short animation? I'd love to find out the creator and artist, and indeed what the film signifies to the artist.

Based on a Chukchi folk tale. The original cartoon is in Chukchi and dubbed in Russian.

Raven Kutkh is telling a story about a wingless gosling, who liked to sleep, was found by a fox, then visited the land of mice, the underworld, the heaven and then was sent by Raven Kutkh to the earth to be born again.

Whilst actually being a game, it plays out as a short animation, or, as it is described: 'A short existential game about alienation and refusal of labour.'

mhm! Quite :D

You can either play the ... uh? ... game here (http://www.molleindustria.org/everydaythesamedream/everydaythesamedream.html), or watch the Youtube video of the game/movie being played/watched ... ?

It did remind me somewhat of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEKDO4ON5Fo) animated music video in its despair and hopelessness of mechanised modern life. Less crude in approach of course :D

Another short animation I have fallen in love with is Tir Nan Og by Fursy Teyssier.

A real treat for those Celticly inclined, or at least those with a passing love for Irish inspired adaptations of tales long written.
