Government Report Recognises Threat of Overpopulation but Ignores Role of Immigration (http://bnp.org.uk/2010/02/government-report-recognises-threat-of-overpopulation-but-ignores-role-of-immigration/)

A Government report published last week said that a nine million population increase by 2031 will cause unprecedented demand on nautural resources and land – - but does not mention mass immigration which is the single most important factor driving the unsustainable population explosion.
The report, “Land Use Futures: Making the Most of Land in the 21st Century”, compiled by 300 scientists, economists and planners, confirms the British National Party’s stance that immigration-fuelled population growth is an environmental threat, one that is increasingly eroding the quality of life for everyone.
Incredibly, the report suggests that the Government could ease population pressure on the South East by planning to “disperse citizens to three new towns in Dumfries and Galloway, Northumberland and Powys” – whilst completely ignoring the obvious, sensible and necessary step of halting immigration.
One of the report’s authors claims: “Over the next 50 years we cannot manage land in the way we’ve done. We’ve got too many competing issues, so much change going on, and we need to get much smarter about how we manage land as we go on” – which makes absolute nonsense once the key role of mass immigration in population growth is understood and the absolute necessity of halting further immigration is accepted.
In a statement that should have all those committed to the preservation of the environment and opposed to the further introduction of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in agriculture deeply concerned, the report also proposes that the Government takes “control of vast tracts of land and using it to grow wood and crops for biomass power stations” and suggests the introduction of an agricultural productivity Bill requiring “farmers to increase yields per hectare” or sell their land to giant industrial farming companies.
Furthermore, in a move not dissimilar to the Soviet collectivisation of farming, the report offers a scenario in which the Government redefines land as a national resource, with the rights of landowners balanced against “society’s rights to public benefits from the services produced by it”.
The British National Party remains the only political party in Britain recognising the catastrophic impact of immigration fuelled overpopulation on our environment, our native wildlife, our culture and our quality of life; which is why it has long called for a return to common sense and an end to mass immigration madness.
