It's getting to the point of surreal around here.
Like fucking toxic waste/fallout washing on our shores. Some people are having a hard time coming to grips about all of this.

I am still indifferent. The oil spill would have only affected the Midlands, parts of Wales and the North. England can do without them anyway.

Some part of me that holds onto the love/hate relationship with the British still makes me laugh at the knowledge that that prick in the Oval office is getting a HUGE stomach ulcer at the oil spill being the fault of the British.
HAHA!!!
That's what you get for returning the bust of Churchill you freak.

Obama probably doesn't give a fuck, while millions of animals perish and people's livelihoods are ruined. Fucking hilarious, yes. :coffee:

remains to be seen how much of southern farmlands, crops, watertable etc will be ruined by the hurricane season lifting some 10 million barrels inlands.
Without any water, living will be somewhat impossible, thus crashing house prices and forcing some 1/3(?) of the dixie population elsewhere...

My 10 year old daughter started to cry today as we drove down the road listening to NPR's (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=127534906) latest news on the oil spill.

damn that vid shows a 4th separate gusher already...
one pipe straight up
that one sideways
a tube on the seafloor, 2 separate smaller leaks
a pile of wreckage, and coming from all over
And 200.000 barrels a day was just from the 1st one. Actually dealing with a million barrels a day???

Bumbleass Obongo touted himself as an eco-friendly candidate when he was on the campaign trail, saying he'd do this and do that for a "green" U.S., etc. Now he's looking to shift the blame to BP for the fact that he's been dragging his feet for over a month (= LOL, all he has to do is get the Attorney-General and the DOJ to start busting some skulls, mobilize FEMA and the EPA.....). If he was Barak W. Bush, he'd have been tarred and feathered by the media kiss-asses on day two of the oil spill disaster.
Priceless political ineptitude from the messiah.

I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh Show on the radio last week and he said that "there was no disaster as predicted by the Liberal Left. Where is the oil? The ocean gobbled it up and naturally disposed of it."
So I feel better now. I was worried at first about the massive amounts of oil but I realize now we all just over-reacted and it is actually nothing...
