View Full Version : Whites Hate other whites based on region/geography
I have noticed on this forum and others i have experienced massive amounts of hostility based on the location i reside.
I know this is because many people have no knowledge of whites in the West Indies or there History because there is little made public about the subject but even after i explain myself and my history the anger and hostility is still being projected towards me.
accusation continues and insults persist.
I notice whites of Africa are excepted here and on many other european based forums, my theory is because they have become a small minority in there country only recently in history and there is much information made to the public about there culture and history.
i was hoping some people here could share there thoughts and feelings on this subject and why they feel the hostility they do.

it is directed towards a portion of the people on this forum and other forums rooted in european culture. such as skadi ect.
I fell much hostility from other users when they find out the location i reside.
they insist that i am black or that i am mulatto and when they see my photos that are clearly of a Caucasian male they continue to make claims of seeing some kind of black features. when these straw man attacks fail they then attack the countries and all of the culture in the west indies and say (( how could you live around that)) ((there must be somthing wrong with you)) ((no respectable white would live where you live)) i mean i can dig up many quotes and messages and threads and attacks i have got threw out my stay here and on other sites.
dont get me wrong most people on apricity are cool, i am just directing this towards a portion of users and wondering if people have any insight into this kind of mind set

sir with all due respect there are more than a few photos of my on this site and i am not in the mood to post photos of myself over and over again so i can prove myself to people who really dont care about me any way.
this post is about the constant denial and insistence that whites dont exist in my region.
I have made many threads on the subject,
Documentary on white Haitians,
documentary on middle eastern haitians,
French of Trinidad,
History of Germans in Haiti,
Germans of Jamaica,
ect ect ect . but these posts all go ignored in large, then when i simply try to join into a thread i get the same old routine ((hey who let the black guy on the forum)) if you cant tell by the photos i already posted then i dont know what to tell you

They go on for pages because some people don't really think you're white. I don't care that you're not white though. It's always the dumbest threads that go on forever. It doesn't mean that they are particularly interesting.
From what I can tell, there are some very few people in Haiti called "whites". Now that being said, I know that the African Haitians like to call even the light-skinned (slightly mixed) blacks "white". Having seen a bunch of examples of these so-called "white Haitians", I think the majority are really just mixed. Many of the newcomer "white" immigrants are Arabs...
Anyway, you posted two pictures. One which is very small and you can't really tell anything and the other at a bad angle, but still you and your friend both look like you're mixed with African ancestry.

That's probably the most important question.
The title of the thread is not accurate, btw. It should be "Whites are EXTREMELY SKEPTICAL of other Whites Based on them coming from Haiti".
If your family came to Haiti recently, then there is a good chance you're not mixed...but you're incredibly rare and woggy. If you're one of these "whites" who says their family has been in Haiti since colonial times, I would highly doubt that you were not mixed to some degree.

no actually this is a unimportant question that holds little weight because like this man in this video he has roots going back to the 1700s and he is unmixed
many islands have families of whites who can trace there roots to the 1600s who are white and unmixed so your point is not relevant

Probably. But in Haiti blacks call anyone white who is not pitch-black. And the mulattoes there are more likely to be a 50/50 split. You're not 50% African, but I have my doubts that you're not part African.

I really doubt it. It's like the whites all over those nearby islands that say they are completely European. They're mixed to a lesser degree than most, but still mixed.

The point you might want to retain out of this exchange is that groupings are considered differently by different peoples. What a group on one side of the world considers itself mightn't be what another group on the other side considers it. Some Blacks here in the US consider themselves to be Israelites, but people in Israel don't consider them as such.

yes i am aware wht white is by your standards, i am not isolated i was educated abroad i have traveled and lived threw out the USA and i have visited Canada and i have been to other islands with much higher white minority groups, i have been to mexico, i have not lived my life with a isolated sense of culture, nationality and race, and i can tell you that in all the islands of the west indies you will find locals who are by your standards white.

I dunno. It depends on the standards of the one doing the evaluation. Nearly every black in the US has European admixture, but very few of them, unless the mixture is in living memory, consider themselves or are considered mixed; they are just black.

i never asked you or anyone what my racial background was on this thread, in fact i was classified on this forum before and there was no question
this all reminds me of a time back when i lived in Kingston Jamaica i was catching a ride from a group of monks i know based in kingston on a back of there truck,
there were white american missionary workers sitting in the back of this truck and all were commenting on how scared they were of the black masses around them.
one of them said (( i wonder what would happen if this truck broke down!))
one man replied(( they would probaly chop you up with a machete thats the only way people around here could know how to react to a white face))
the whole trip i was very silent and i said to them man, (( sir how then do white Jamaicans survive?)) the man laughed and said ((someone tell this idiot that there are no white people in this country he said are you blind or stupid?? he then said a white person like you couldnt make it here, notice how this man sees me as white when he thinks i am from outside the island.
15 mins later the truck stopped at a white jamaican families home who i knew and then the heard our accents. one of them men said to the rude gent, I guess there are some whites here, the man replied they look white frank they look white! but they got to be mixed ... some how!!
this is the mental disorder i am trying to address that so many people here suffer from.

there is no whining it seems you misunderstand , i have no problems, i am curious to the problems of others and how they can not fathom even after video, photographic, and historic and contemporary text is set before them that there are whites and people of non black background in the west indies.
and there have been 4 pictures of myself put up already,
i was classified and everyone agreed i was white... until they learned my location then it was impossible for them to fathom such a concept,

back when your screen name was asega i recall you had the hardest time understanding the concept of whites in the west indies in fact i made a thread directed at you to answer you very sarcastic and semi hostile questions about my background - Answer to Asegas questions on Germans in Haiti that is a thread i made just for you and i think you did read it.
