Finance Minister Jürgen Ligi said Estonia will participate in 400-billion-euro stability fund to help financially troubled EU member countries.

The current proposal, which needs to be ratified by Parliament, would put Estonia's contribution at 0.18 percent or 800 million euros, Ligi told ERR radio. "It is an expression of solidarity. The Eurozone is backing countries in hardship," he said.

Ireland announced on November 21 that it will be requesting up to 90 billion euros to fix its busted banking sector. The EU and the International Monetary Fund said they would support Ireland.

They're lying though, the money is not going to the Irish people - it is to add capital to Irish banks, so they can honour their non-Irish bondholder creditors (mostly large European and American banks). But, the Irish people will pay for this with their taxes and cuts in social services for years to come. A great bankocratic swindle.
