I have been attracted and dated women of various types and, apart from hormones, I think I may have been influenced a bit by the culture around me and where I grew up and what I was used to. I think women might be more influenced by this phenomenon, though, whereas men generally set the standard for both sexes (i.e., more choosy based on looks). That's only an opinion though.

Have the standards of beauty changed much within your country/culture in your lifetime since the rise of pop culture and globalism? Feel free to post pics.

with porn becoming mainstream and cosmetic surgery more popular, women are more bothered about their breast size and men are more bothered about their penis size than in the past - according to my mother, young people did not care about this in england in the 70s ;)

Right would be to say "cared less", because such traits were always considered, just less important then and more difficult to compare often too. What changed are rather the standards - which became more extreme, but (significant) differences were recognised in the past as well, after all they had eyes then too :p
