How eyes shape differs in the various countries of Europe, and, why not, also among the other caucasoid peoples?

According to what I have read in an other thread, it seems that turned down eyes are more found in Western Europe and among Northern Africans, while turned up eyes more in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

I think eyeshape give them ''look'', If you know what I mean. Eastern Europeans dont have smaller eyes, that's more Northern European trait.

I think that Greeks have the biggest eyes. They're cute on their own way.
About features, also cheeks and skull are very important to catch the "Western" or "Eastern" vibe, as well as the jaw. But of course, eyes probably catch our attention for first.

Big eyes creep me out and irritate me, I don't like them one bit. Personally I prefer the small, narrow Baltid eyes

I guess it's due to Mediterraneanid influence but they tend to have rather more almond eyes.

Baltid eyes aren't really small, that's more East Baltid you're talking about.

Standard Baltid (Polish)

East Baltid (Russian)

See the difference ?

Can you explain exaclty what almond eyes means in English and what's the difference between almond and slanted eyes? Becouse in Italian almond eyes (litterally "occhi a mandorla") means this:

There's difference between Asian almond eyeshape and European almond eyeshape. Asian almond eyeshape is quite smaller and European almond eyeshape is *somewhat* smallish.

Ok so I suppose that almond eyes means the same also in English. Yes we also use it also for European almond eyes. The European ones are different becouse we lack a piece of fat over the blink, while Asians bear with this fat and their eyes look more "closed". Removing that fat the eyes appear more European.

Oh, and eyeshape make people have distinctly facial expression. People with similiar eyeshape, have similiar facial expression.

Yes, that's true but not all of them, tho. I'm from Eastern Europe and my eyes is not really up turned oblique eyes. My eyeshape is more pretty similiar eyeshape to this Serb guy.

Do you consider that eyeshape is an Eastern European ?

They are turned up indeed, and also a bit slanted.

Do you consider that eyeshape is an Eastern European ?I think most Europeans across the board have horizontal eyes. Its just that there is a tendency for some in the NE to have the uptured eyes and a tendency for some in the West to have downturned eyes.

If that's the case, then the majority of European has Slavic looking eyes. :rotfl
Yeah, I agree with your bottom comment.

hmmm, in eyes shape i can say, armenoids with typical big almond eyes. East baltids with rather small sad eyes, going to a lappid form by partial or full epicanthus.
The 2 extremes of the coin.
