It's obvious that the nature of war and diplomacy has changed and the armed forces should change along with it. What are your suggestions ?

Tanks need to be unmanned as well as Jets. Attack Helicopters should still be manned.

In the age of economic globalization, wars among major powers on a scale resulting in significant destruction are very unlikely as they would negatively affect the world’s economy for years to come.

Iran aside (as a separate case of messianic ideology that pursues nuclear weapons), the name of the future game will be intentionally contained regional confrontations for resources. For example, a conflict in the Arctic among several parties seems to me as inevitable.

The winning party would be the one that manages to present others with a military fait accompli and then dictate an acceptable deal from the position of power. That would require quality intelligence, total cyber warfare, speedy operations with small teams on the ground. Future weapons would increasingly employ nanotechnology. I don’t believe major powers would resort to nuclear options, unless they manage to use tactical nuclear weapons in a fashion that doesn’t have the economically lasting impact.
