There is this book called the Iron Heel by Jack London and it seems to be about a group of middle class members of the Socialist Party of America who lead a class war against the oppressive oligarchy and preach International Socialism. I was wondering, how in anyway is the Iron Heel an influence to Nationalism?

Apart from a few neo-Nazis who bought the edition from the National Alliance with the cover featuring the boot stomping a poster with the picture of Allende with 'Viva Allende!' I'd say the effect has been neglible. In fact, IIRC the Nazi regime itself actually banned it.
This was easily London's most noxious work and the people it did influence were guys like Leon Trotsky.

But does the book promote Nationalism in the end? It is sold on Steven Books and the review they give says that the story explains the inadequacy of the Marxist ideology.
Why does the cover have a picture of a boot on Allende's poster?

Here is the copy the National Alliance sells (it was originally published by someone else and if you're unaware the National Alliance is an American neo-Nazi group):

I can only speculate but I'd imagine Allende is on the cover because this is a work of leftism and Allende was a fallen idol of the left. Perhaps he represented a working class hero against the oligarchy or whatever.
I suspect the National Alliance's interest in it has to do with the fact that London was a racialist (albeit heavily influenced by Marx) and it promotes revolution. I didn't notice any nationalist themes in it.
