Does anyone really use this? If not, I will uninstall it and add more useful applications.

Personally, I don't. I think that if someone wants to invite a friend they can simply give the forum's link. The registration process doesn't take much at all and the activation of new accounts is quick as well, so..

We don't even need to advertise the site anymore either. Most of our new members come here from Google searches.
