I used to play in TBC, then I started again when Cataclysm came out. I had a lvl 70 Mage and Shaman in TBC, (I also had a Druid but I didn't lvl it up to 70 myself).

I came pretty far with the Mage in PVP, I didn't do much PVE. Mage was some of the more demanding classes to play in TBC, but pretty fun too. I sold that account for a good amount of money.

When WOTLK came out I came to lvl 80 with the Mage but decided to quit. Now I have a 85 Warrior, Rogue and a Paladin.

I used to play at Mazrigos, I migrated from Mazrigos when it became a PVE realm. It didn't matter much anyway though as world PVP has died anyway.

indeed flight killed it, though I like the pve realm bit, I do pvp but as a healer. so no good at one on one! (main is prot/holy)

I have 6 85s 2 on Executus,4 on Chrommagus (all on Chrommagus are on horde side).
However,stop playing WOW at the moment,cause I had a bad psychical state and I noticed that playing WOW was accentuating it.
Not while playing WOW,but after I was playing WOW for a long time,coming back to reality was just making my depression deeper.
I am sorry cause I stoped talking with my good mates from there but anyway they were looking me as I am weird,since I got some bans for saying things against jews and judaism.I almost got my account perma-ban for that.
My guild leader to which I was mate got upset on me for saying those things,even though he had nothing to do with jews and judaism and said I am giving guild a bad name and removed me from guild.
But I found other mates while stil being friend with the mates from my old guild who had nothing about me saying those things about judaism.

Been in some of the best guilds on my server, best was 39th in World rating, eventhough I always enjoyed PVP better than PVE, despite hating Arenas..still managed to get ~2400 in 3s, but never Gladiator, I wasn't too serious about it.


I played, mostly, a Ret Paladin, although at times I specced Prot. When I was not on my Paladin, I was playing my Warrior. Both Alliance, Human and Dwarf respectively.

Oh and I'm unlikely to play again, I think the game has past it's time, it's getting the same thing all over again..I also dislike the Asian theme, so I don't see myself paying, especially when I'd have to play with no IRL friends.

My mage was famous in the realm of Zenedar, I also got the title of Field Marshall in the early days of WSG, I remember that I was the best duelist in the kingdom, with my mage.

I was always focused on PvP, I played from 2004 to 2008, in the PvE I completed the largest and oldest instances of MC and BlackRock, BWM? I forget the names, my guild was relatively modest, we were almost all Italians and Spanish, along with Russians, I remember that Italian and Spanish naturally we got along well, with friendship and camaraderie, and we were always arguing with the Russians.

That is a very weird mix.
I played last time in a scandinavian guild,there only 2 romanians and 1 turk,beside scandinavians.
They were speaking swedish or so in chat and sometimes also in english so we could understand.
When I started to play WOW on Europe,in 2006 I played also in a scandinavian guild also,most people were swedes.
I was understanding very well with them,but quited since I had a very demanding job.
That was not nice,I mean not keeping in contact with those people,they disbanded not long after but that marked most of us emotionally.

Yea, in TBC I was focusing on raid content so I didn't play arenas that much, only got to 1900s, which was quite decent for a Ret Paladin who was easily countered at the time, I still remember drain teams who focused on me, I became useless one or two minutes after the fight started lol


My guilds were either full of Scandinavians and Brits, or just Portuguese guilds (these were always PVE focused, generally Portuguese were terrible at PVP).

Random Spanish/italian conversation in chat guild: Guys, where is BlackWizard(the Russian) -He did not say to me, he does not talk with walls ect... Russians, serious and angry, always.

Indeed. Something I liked about WoW was the lore. How the hell does Pandas and some evil spirits fit in the lore? It's not even cool. The follow-up to Cataclysm could have a lot of potential for some good lore and therefore interesting PVE at least, Blizzard left out a lot of things that could be developed on, but why the stupid Pandas?

The only real explanation I have is that Blizzard is marketing this for the kids.

I agree, except with Warcraft 3, it was so great it's still played today.

TBC was the best period of WoW, vanilla was great (despite the grind) and mysterious because most people had no idea on what the fuck was going on. WOTLK was the beggining of the end, the game was so popular that it lost it's mystique, although still being cool...PVP was clearly worse than TBC, but better than other periods of the game.

I'm sad to see the direction the game is taking, and how it's lacking innovation.

Ofc I played WoW and still playing it. Atm I'm re-leveling a warlock, Affliction spec PvP is probably most unique way of PvP :thumbs up Though Rogues are most likely to pwn you in low-level BGs...

I much would rather prefer vanilla or TBC than the current WoW though. WoW was awesome back then. :ranger:
