I've always had a sneeking admiration of the Danes and in particular this aspect of their society. I have a very close Danish friend and it's refreshing to see the non-judgemental interaction he has when over here:)

Here are the rules.....discuss.

The ten rules state:

1.Don't think you're anything special.
2.Don't think you're as good as us.
3.Don't think you're smarter than us.
4.Don't convince yourself that you're better than us.
5.Don't think you know more than us.
6.Don't think you are more important than us.
7.Don't think you are good at anything.
8.Don't laugh at us.
9.Don't think anyone cares about you.
10.Don't think you can teach us anything

Well its all true to some extent or another, and its a realistic approach to take to the whole matter, although I know some people might take offense with it.

I think that if you can't do something about the situation, have not experienced it, or don't have much information/knowledge about it then its best to say nothing and assume nothing.

I think its best to put your words into action, and if you wish to question authority make sure you know who you are and where you are coming from.

The law of Jante is instilled VERY strongly in Norway as well.

We tend to hate show-offs etc. Also, don't expect strangers to talk to you :P

I like the Danes because they're the least ostentacious race I've met and I'm aware that the rule exists in both Norway and Sweden.
