I found this place when I was 20, it's about 12 kilometres from my home town so I've being going back there for a long time. It's called The White Lion and it's on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border and it's been there since 1642 I believe:thumb001:

I spent 3 years living on this council estate in the 1980s, this was a top pub, with great people who used it.:(

Hanafin's Irish Pub in Glastonbury, Connecticut. They always have
Newcastle brown ale on draught and they serve excellent braised lamb shanks.

It's sad that so many pubs are closing down and working mens clubs also. I've been to Leegomery once. A close friend of mine had a friend who lived there. I've just been racking my brain to remember why the name meant something.
