Want a cheap nordic lunch, without having to go to a nordic country?

Buy Voss, water from Norway
or Icelantic water both around €4 Euros

Then take it with you to the Ikea in your country and get some swedish meatballs, potato €4 euros

and you now are having food from nordic countries for cheap! Without having to travel to the cold winter or paying a large price.

I actually do this and I take my ipod and play some music from nordic countries once in a while, just for fun, cheaper than traveling!

I used to goto Ikea just for the meatballs sometimes. When I lived in California I would hike in the mountains and listen to Portuguese music. I understand what you are doing lol.

ehhhh, i'll rather go to the Kebab place in SF than drive to Ikea and get some rip-off meatballs.

Ikea in Oakland. I went there a few times. SF has so many good Greek restaurants. Ikea meatballs are pretty decent though. They are cheap. Of course a gyro would be much nicer.

Aren't those supposed to be open sandwiches? Using only one piece of bread instead of 2? :)

I could go to the Ikea in Oakland, or the one in West Sacramento. neither interest me, I might as well go to a Turkish restaurant in SF that's on Geary street,

Never been there. There's a Greek place tucked away close to Union Square a little behind the old hotel. They have the best Gyros. In Mission area there's a middle eastern place with roast chicken and they are also excellent. Of course either of those are going to be way better than $3 Ikea meatballs lol.
