Every now and then I like to read philosophy and one book I read a couple of years ago was Conjectures and Refutations: The Growth of Scientific Knowledge by Karl Popper (you can view the section relevant here). In that book Popper introduces the term falsifiability which asserts that for a theory to be scientific it needs to be put in a situation where it could be proven false and if it can't it is then unscientific. Popper criticises various theories that claim to be scientific but lack falsifiability,
A theory is useful because it enables us to predict the future.
A theory is valid only if it explains all facts of its domain, and itís invalid if it is contradicted even by a single fact. This should be obvious, how possibly can a theory predict things that havenít happened yet, if it canít explain things that have already happened?
Iím gonna compare two theories of what was the civilization that preceded the Roman civilization, Greek or Albanian, and see which of them can

But are Greeks that we know such highly vital people? Well, if they were, not only they will be able to take care of themselves, but thanks to their vitality they would
In correspondence with Doug McDonald, he shared some really interesting information, and I thought I'd post his insight. I enquired about his classification of the Ashkenazi Jews as a Middle Eastern poplace, and furthermore, their ME/Euro split. Here is what he had to say
Ashkenazy Jews are about 50-50 core European and core Mideastern. But I have to assign them to one place or another for bookkeeping purposes (when I asked why he called them ME).
If I leave Jews
I am so excited !
I just ordered a 23andMe test... for my father. As far as we know he is a full blooded Spaniard, but he and his father are light blonde blue eyed men who would fit well in northern Europe. It will be interesting to see if he has ancestors from northern Europe that had emigrated down to southern Spain to farm.
