It's interesting to note that India and China have had large populations from early times.

After the arrival of Europeans to America, there was initially a huge decline of population there - but the video does not show it. In year 1800 the Americas had fewer people than in 1500.

In the foreseeable future; I would say the high birthrates/high population counts will be attributed to China, India, South/Central America and probably Africa.

Correct. This project is not 100% accurate, obviously. I think it is most accurate in Europe, and then Asia.
The pre-Columbus Americas housed 100 million people.

Africa 1st. Most of the current population growth is taking place in Africa and Asia.

Population growth is now highest in Africa. It has levelled off a lot in China, and also elsewhere in Asia like Bangladesh, where population growth has recently been brough down a lot by successful family planning projects.
