a real pain in the ass
Spoiler!
I think that you are generally cool, but that you can be really ignorant sometimes. And on top of that, when you're ignorant on something you have no idea about, when someone corrects you, it's like it goes over your head.
I also think you have an unhealthy obsessesion with light hair eyes.
Also, how the hell do you wake up one day and think to yourself "I wonder if Syrians look more like Yemenis or of Pakistanis look more like Maldivians?"?
I'm less than fond of your usage of "whites" when describing people of the European origin (whether they be born here or elsewhere) in the Oceania region.
It is called "showing an interest in the world". I thought this was an anthropology forum? One of the things that ought to be discussed is: are some races objectively more diverse than others? Because, in terms of genetics, Europeans are probably the most homogeneous and Black Africans the most diverse, yet I am really unsure to what extent this translates into phenotype too?
you impressed and made some bonus points with me for your pro serb comment
Thanks, but just to clarify: I am not 'pro-Serb'. I just think that, in hindsight, Western coverage of the Balkan wars was imbalanced, and certainly the way the NATO bombings were reported, including of the Serb TV station and the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, was rather desensitized and vapid.
EDIT: And the Yugoslav Truth Commission was incredibly biased and with a victors' justice mentality too.
