I always wondered wtf Keltic Nordic is. None of these people look especially Scandonordic to me. British are mixed and can have a Frenchified look with some Brunnish facial cragginess.
I think the category was invented to account for not-so-doliocephalic cranial series and really Dinarid-Norid-Med type features in Hallstatt and call it "Nordic" to suit peoples 19th century beliefs.
My Irish grandmother used to say the Med looking Irish strain was actually Hebrew. Maybe she was right, not about the Spanish Armada but about something that happened much earlier on the Continent.
