What's up with these comedians and clowns on TA these days?
Beowulf was a Goth thus he was one of us not a viking. He was a cool and noble badass unlike the soulless vikings. We are the origin of chivalry. Why do you think maximus in the movie gladiator is called spaniard?Spartacus was one of us as well as Cleopatra,King Arthur,Alfred the Great,Alexander the Great,Odin,Queen Elizabeth I,King David,King James, the Virgin Mary and JESUS CHRIST,etc.Know you place,chumpions...
Dudo of Saint Quentin, a Norman historian, wrote between 1015 and 1030 AD "The History of the Normans" where he called the Vikings "cruel, harsh, destructive, troublesome, wild, ferocious, lustful, lawless, death-dealing, arrogant, ungodly and more monstrous than all the rest."
King Arthur, possibly based on a real figure, was most likely a Briton if he existed, not a Basque or Catalan. Beowulf is from an English epic poem, and while he could be based on a real person, i don't think there is evidence for him being a real person. Odin is mythical person, possible he's based on some sort of Messiah - but again no evidence as far as i know. Queen Elizabeth I was of quite mixed ancestry and i don't think she identified as Basque or Catalan lol, but rather as the Queen of England. Alfred the Great was from Oxfordshire of aristocratic English (and probably also Brythonic) descent.
It's not surprising that a Christian Norman described the Pagan Vikings like this, many people did at the time, and afterwards. Many people described the Normans as nasty pieces of work too, i think that goes for most groups - at some time and place most groups have been described in such a way.
Jesus Christ was not Basque or Catalan as far as i know, unless you have some revolutionary new evidence to present to the Pope. You should go and explain it to him, i'm sure he'd be happy to know.
You should go and write a great work of fiction with all these fantastical claims, i'm sure it might sell a couple of hundred copies.

You need to find some more up-to-date information. the Irish are more closely related to even Germans than to Iberians. Even the R1b group that dominates in Ireland has very scanty representation in most places further south or east than northern France.
