Yep, it's only the last 1000-2000 years that the world has had a lot of what we call asian looking people or dark people either, for that matter. Unfortunately people can't get out of the idea that things don't stay the same over time, especially now that travel and mixing is so much more common.

The first known Mongoloids appear in early Neolithic sites in China, such as Baoji and Huaxian around 7,100BP.

but these guys are way older than "mongoloids". They're probably descendants of Proto australoids.

The type of these people is CroMagnid. They could all fit throughout Mesolithic Europe and are as different from Mongoloids as night and day... As for them being "genetically Mongoloid", argument is ludicrous since there is no such thing as "genetic Mongoloid".
In all fairness, they should be considered a separate race (akin Cushites)...
