Because some Finns and Baltics have a bit of Mongoloid influence. More specifically Uralic.
No. Lithuanians as well other Baltic peoples , Finns, Northern Russians look different from what you’d expect in America. Over, there the “top of the cream” so to speak is Nordid-looking ( Anglo-Saxon, Hallstatt, Keltic, Tronder, North Atlantid). There are many CMs ( Borreby, Brunn, Dalofaelid, Paleo Atlantid types) as well. I agree that myself look pretty NW European (CM + Nordid mixes)However the former mostly look Baltid/East Europid ( East Baltid, Neo Danubian, Ladogan) in the majority of cases. So they look different from you, see. Notably in facial features as theirs are somehow flatter than what you’re used to see, there are way more snub noses amongst them and narrow eyelids. The flatness of faces is the result of an adaptation to the extreme cold that some their ancient ancestors had to bear. The narrow eyelids as well. To make it pretty clear, just because you have Europids with narrow eyelids, it doesn’t make one Mongoloid or Mongoloid-influenced. It just means that their ancestors lived in climate perhaps as harshly cold as that of what East Asiatics had to go through. There is no proof of them having Chinese or Japanese or Vietnamese or even Inuit blood. So let’s cut the crap, Ok.
Lithuanians as a whole, are lighter-haired and much lighter-eyed than the European average. Although the most common hair colour is brown, the second most common is (dark) ash blond and light eyes are very comparable to that of Northern Europe.
Lithuanians are not Uralids! Get your facts straight. Lithuanians have some of the largest genetic footprint of European hunter-gatherers. There’s a gene variant for fair skin and blue eyes which is most common amongst Lithuanians at a much higher frequency than in any other European population. Lithuanians are also a homogeneous Northeastern European population.
