The Castilian meseta is a high plain, it looks like flat (eventhough is around 600 meters height on average) with some small mountains. Very hot in summer, and very cold in winter. It's mostly made up cereal crops with some spared trees:

No, I found the photo in a forum. A guy found the spider in his gilfriend home and keeps it as a pet (I wonder what his girlfriend think about it).
