You can find the same shit in any country. The question is how common are ghetto areas in a country.

There's also the opposite phenomenon, the so called "gentrification", the clean-up and redevelopment of the ghetto areas. You won't see many videos on that, because people are way more into decay and fear. The only videos on gentrification are tedious leftist lectures on how former glorious ghettos are no longer affordable.

You can win either way: if it's a ghetto, why is it a ghetto? if it's not a ghetto any longer, why isn't it a ghetto?

This isn't a ghetto but a whole city completely rundown. And from the look of it not the only one. Sad state of affairs.
