Junk Mail
It seems i do not get a lot of junk mail in the post these days, call me a dinosaur but i have never replied to any that i can remember.
Piles of junk mail used to pile up on my bureau, opened but just sitting there.
A lightening bolt hit me with an idea, how to get rid of the junk.
For years now i have been tearing off my name and address from the letter heads, tearing what is left into little pieces, then putting the mail into the return envelope they always supply, then posting it back to them.
Am i an eccentric?

Only if postage is not included with the return envelope!:D

Not eccentric at all, just a low key "monkey wrencher."
Some friends and I, as these marketeers get charged by the weight of what they get back on their prepaid frank-mark, save the metal foil from around the top of wine bottles and try and add an extra ounce or two when we send the stuff back. I'll also send the stuff that doesn't come postage paid back to somewhere that does.
If the entity is an organization with which we really disagree, like a tele-evangelist fund raising boiler room, we like to put very fine silica sand in the envelope, as they use automatic openers, which slit the bottom...sand goes in the mechanism...mechanism wears a lot faster, breaks down more often. :thumbs
