After years of negotiation and study one of the greatest symbols of the history of the city passes into the hands of the City of Priego.

This week has been carried out the act of donation from the hands of the Tisner Madrid family of the military insignia "the banner of the Zamorano" to the prieguense consistory and this in turn has deposited it in the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage - IAPH for study and restoration.

This 1501 insignia has been preserved thanks to the Tisner Madrid family and from now on it passes into municipal hands so that after about 14 months of restoration all prieguenses and visitors can enjoy this great jewel of our history.
