Effects of an 'English' victory during "The Hundred Years War"?

The title says it all. I believe that an early English/Plantagenet victory would have meant the survival of the Oïl/Oc languages in France and thus England remaining a Francophonic (and more or less Francophile) country as a result. Unlike a late English victory under the Lancastrian dynasty, which actually did happen and where traditions between both kingdoms had to be respected (since "Englishness" became a more stable notion following numerous victories in its early history).

England proper (that is England in GB) would have become a less important part of this new "English Empire" or whatever it would be called. French would probably be official perhaps and we'd have had a lot more trouble with rebellious groups and other ethnicities.
As well as that a lot of taxes would be devoted to wars along France's unstable, undefendable borders and I really don't like the sound of any of it really.
