Lol, well Irridentist are reality almost everywhere in Europe, I bet you could find some ppl in Germany who thinks Poland should give them some areas etc..., Irridentist have no power in Italy, none what so ever. :)

P.S. That about Bulgaria, I think you agree because almost every older Croatian person I was talking about history was sayin to me that Bulgarians are our allies, but also because of Politics in history. I remember one Bulgarian student, he was for a year here, that guy hated everyone in SouthEastern Europe except Croatia, that's why he came here lol.


I'm not sayin his hatred toward others in SouthEastern Europe is good thing, but it was funny.

Friends, enemies, and everything in between is based on whether a foreign government is a barrier to a nation's interests or have mutual interests they can work together to achieve.

Historically, geopolitically... I'd put all of Europe red, more or less, but I'm neutral.

I wouldn't color anyone enemy. Friendly approach towards all including Armenia. (I believe Armenians living in Armenia are not as much fervent as the diaspora).

The Kemalist principle is 'Peace at Home, Peace in the World', as Atatürk said. No bad relations with anyone unless they target us.

I would have better relations with Russia, not to join Shanghai or anything (I want Turkey to face towards EU) but culturally and in aspects of tourism and economy we should get closer imo. I think that's what our people also want.

We should be ok with the government of Syria. I'd be neutral/indifferent towards countries like Saudi Arabia; keep a certain distance from them. Good relations with Israel; in terms of military cooperation and tourism, economy, but I'd still support the Palestinian cause (though Hamas should be recognized as terrorist).

It depends on the historical period. Generally:
European countries were fighting usually with its neighbours, and as allies ones had usually another neigbour of its enemy :)
I am glad that I live in the time when our nation had not any serious disputes with our neighbours.
