Óró Sé do Bheatha 'Bhaile
English Lyrics - Padriag Pearse version (Irish Nationalist)
(Chorus)
Oh-ro You're welcome home,
Oh-ro You're welcome home,
Oh-ro You're welcome home...
Now that summer's coming!
Welcome oh woman who was so afflicted,
It was our ruin that you were in bondage,
Our fine land in the possession of thieves...
And you sold to the foreigners!
Chorus
Gráinne O'Malley is coming over the sea,
Armed warriors along with her as her guard,
They are Irishmen, not French nor Spanish...
And they will rout the foreigners!
Chorus
May it please the King of Miracles that we might see,
Although we may live for a week once after,
Gráinne Mhaol and a thousand warriors...
Dispersing the foreigners!
Cretan war song: When will there be a starry night?

When will there be a starry night?
when will February come?
to pick up my riffle
to pick up my riffle
my beautiful “patrona”
to come down to Omalos
to come down to Omalos,
to the road of the Mousouros
to make mothers without sons
to make mothers without sons
wives without husbands
to make babies
to make babies
cry without their mothers
when will there be a starry night?

READY TO BE A WARRIOR
Ready was the warrior
Ready was the war horse
I waited for the sign
That would come from the titmouse
Riding out the gate
I stuck the rod beneath it
If it grows, if it blossoms
Wait for my return
If it doesn't grow or blossom
Wait for me no longer
When I went off to war
Cut a cross into the oak
Don't cry father, mother
Let the cross cry in the oak
The Dance Of The Knives, traditional Pontian (Black Sea) Greek dance:

I could post a hundred military marches. :D
But perhaps more folky ballads/songs are what you are after? Finnish military marches are often quite vulgar, as in "of the common people", though. :)

Rough transl.:
He has been "there, somewhere"
Where so many were left behind
He did everything
He was ordered to
What is right or wrong
was decided for him
and those deciding
remained in the city
He has felt bombs hammering the earth
Cries of help, he can still hear them
He has seen the sun rise from smoke
in a world destroyed and in ruin
Some scars can be seen, some not
Back then men were harvest taken by the frost
With the memories as his burden
he returns to the front each night
Some scars can be seen, some not
Those years took many dreams to the grave
still he saw hope glimmering somewhere
Is he not deserving of a little more?
From behind his sights he's seen another man
Who marched according to the orders of others
Yet he fought his battle and we have our freedom
He is proud and humble before it
Still he had the strength to build this land
With nail and tooth, prayer and tears
Behind him he has a journey most severe
he is weary after a hero's trail.

Those are all from the First republic period...or from the period of the WW1.

This one is quite special, it´s a medieval song/chorale of Hussites, it was quite well known song which used to scary the crusaders.
Its name means something like: "Ye Who Are Warriors of God".
Here is a modern verion of the same song:

Lyrics:
Ye who are God's warriors and of his law,
Pray to God for help and have faith in Him;
That always with Him you will be victorious.
Christ is worth all your sacrifices, He will pay you back an hundredfold.
If you give up your life for Him you will receive eternal life.
Happy is he who believes this truth.
The Lord commandeth you not to fear bodily harm,
And commandeth you to even put your life down for the love of your brothers.
Therefore, archers, crossbowmen, halberdiers of knightly rank,
Scythemen and macebearers from all walks of life,
Remember always the Lord benevolent.
Do not fear your enemies, nor gaze upon their number,
Keep the Lord in your hearts; for Him fight on,
And before enemies you need not flee.
Since ages past Czechs have said and had proverbs which state,
That if the leader is good, so too is the journey.
Remember all of you the password which was given out.
Obey your captains and guard one another.
Stay sharp and everyone keep formation.
You beggars and wrongdoers, remember your soul!
For greed and theft don't lose your life.
And pay no heed to the spoils of war.
And with this happily cry out - saying, "At thee! Have at thee!"
Savour the weapon in your hands and shout, "God is our Lord!"
About some dude that cut off Turk's heads.

Trimăs-o-mpăratu carťe
La feťile ďi pă saťe
Să nu-ș facă roťii-n flori
Că nu le rămân feciori,
Să-ș facă roťii mňerâie
C-o murit feciori o mňie.
- Împăraťe, Împăraťe
Puňe pace, nu ťe baťe -
Răguťele-s tinerele
Nu știu rându la oțăle,
La oțăle, la focuri,
Da' știu rându la pluguri.

The Emperor sent letters
To the girls in the villages
So they won't make dresses with flowers
Because there won't be any lads left,
So they'll make blue dresses
Because a thousand lads died.
- Emperor, Emperor
Make peace, don't fight -
The recruits are young
They don't know how to use steel,
Steel and fire (guns),
But they know how to use ploughs.
As you can imagine, we weren't so keen on fighting for the Habsburg Empire after they gave us the privilege of being tolerated in our own lands...
