You need to look at Steppe when you compare NW Europeans to each other, not when you compare them to outsiders.

Someone explained that it's not wrong. The Irish and the Anglo-Saxons have a similar amount of Steppe, the English have less, therefore the Anglo-Saxons are genetically closer to the Irish.

The one where Anglo-Saxons came from is closer to the Irish than to the English.

Haplogroups are literally less than 1% of DNA, you should look at autosomal distance, Eurogenes K13 also shows that Anglo-Saxons are closer to the Irish than to the English

How do you calculate phenotypical distance?

Basically if Anglo-Saxons were to visit modern England and Ireland they would find the Irish more similar to them lookswise.
