I also wouldn't use only Croatia as general Illyrian , some of those samples there from BA/IA period have venetic admixture as they shift more west.

Post pca maps with ancient and modern samples. For the ancient samples post also their Y-DNA if they have one. Below is a quick map from the Balkans for Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman period. I...
Bryges were most likely an Illyrian tribe and not Phrygian. Dardani were Thrako-Illyrian. Dauni, Iapyges, Messapians etc in Italy were of proto-Illyrian or Balkan origin.

I agree. The Romans entirely destroyed the Balkans. But the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire is what destroyed the Balkans even more which led to barbarian incursions and today as a result we got...
Eastern Roman Empire fell in 500 AD.
This is what I have been saying for years
From my own observations so far:
Majority of the lineages seem to be ancient Balkan (E-V13, R1b-M269, J-L283) , there are also some other other Y-DNA
which were present in the Ancient Balkans /...
For Malsia, an area of Northern Albania/Montenegro:
J2b2-L283: 39.9%
E-V13: 37.7%
R1b-M269: 15.2%
and very small minority of Slavic / Germanic
For all Albanian territories together:
Post Y-DNA statistics of different Balkan groups from various DNA projects.
These are from the Albanian rrenjet project: https://rrenjet.com/statistikat/
For the Ghegs (an area of Northern...

It's a good thing that place shut down. I think most of these places should get shut down. There were some good members there but those people have spread all kinds of fake theories about genetics...
There is obviously no such thing as significant East Med or Anatolian input in the Balkans during Roman Period if we also look at this PCA Map , and especially not post Roman period . Just theories...
This is obviously a completely wrong calculator and model. All the samples are cherrypicked. Those medieval samples from Albania are cherrypicked. (Samples have been left out in order to increase...
These are just cherrypicked results. These sampels are R1b-Z2103 and some other Y-DNA and do not have the same Y-DNA as Balkan Slavs . These samples
are closest to Iron Age Illyrians.
