Look at his eyes and brows. He is very distinctly turkish. Greeks have very distinct eyes and brows, and they arent like his.
Even still, Lebanon and Syria tend to not represent modern-day perceptions of near easterners as they are more representative of ancient near easterners. Think of Israelis.
