i hate memes too, who the hell wants to watch things like startrek or futurama. I never watched startrek in my whole life but this stupid meme annoys me

same for futurama, they are very annoying and poping up all the time. They are not funny anymore, and they actually never were in the first place. I only use facepalm as smileys to say other people in forums that they are retarded without if they annoy me. Since i know this is how people feel about seeing it, since its dominating gesture.

The reason why memes are so big is because it helps to promote american culture like movies, music, tv shows, games and so on. Its supported by american media since it helps to sell their stuff, if i want to understand the face palm meme for example i have to watch the whole startrek series which helps to boost their sales and american pockets.

memes are very dangerous for non american cultures, since its mostly their stuff who gets free advertisements in places not related to american products and culture. If you also notice almost all memes are always made in english language, i know only that russians often times make them in russian but germans for example dont make them in german.

so what who cares i rather want russia not be dominated by american culture like germany is, in fact all east asian countries arent dominated by american culture making much better stuff than shitty american media. America isnt western youre a mullato hell hole.
