Since Zeus was born out of Cronus and Rhea, he came to existence by pre-existing material. So he can't be the Almighty creator of the Universe who is before everything.

The Creator has to be the greatest because a creation will be inferior and limited, if He selected someone else for a role He knows what he is doing so He is in charge indirectly and directly. It is contradictory to affirm the creation could possibly have control over something against the Creator's will.

Cronus and Rhea, and Zeus, are beings of ANOTHER universe.
And Zeus created this universe.
It's almost a scientific fact that there're different universes, theories about that are strong.
