Turbo folk is associated with Gypsy music in Turkey. It's far from authenthic Turkish and not even popular in Turkey. This is why I want Sikeliot to respond to my comment, to understand what he means with Turkish music.

I was assuming all of the "eastern" or "Oriental" sound in Balkan music is Turkish. If it's not, then I am wrong.

I'm not going back to check and see what it was. If you want me to answer it, ask it again here so I don't have to search, if you want me to answer it.
