Not the same but the are certainly influenced by it. I think they fit generally in the catagory of Latin folk if they are predominantly culturally and genetically European.

The fully White Latinos would be completely the same and other than that, some have a heavy Romance influence on culture, and some have a low influence.

Do you consider Native Canadians and Black Americans part of the Germanic culture? I noticed they often stick together too.

Latin is a linguistic term that encompasses any native speaker of a derivative of the same!

I just think it's funny how the Germanic barbarians want to decide which country can be "Latin" in "latin america"

Only the ones who are solely Spanish or of other Romance-speaking origin, and who don't have indigenous or African cultural elements.

I definitely don't consider Dominicans to be in the same meta-category with Iberians, French, Italians (who I don't think should be all grouped together anyhow). Nor would I say the heavily indigenous Guatemalans or Bolivians are either.

Most 100% Euro Latin Americas are unaware of their ethnic origins. A study was done west in my country that found a few people and villages with no mix. Still when you go there, they just identify as any other Colombian citizen.

Genetics here are also extremely unknown, so I really doubt that saying 100% Euro Latin americans fit one social category while those that aren't fit another category is invalid.

If you have an eugenics/purity point of view, then yes of course, only 100% Euro latin americans deserve to be considered equal as Latin Europeans.

Well no, rather a cultural one. But either way, I would never consider Dominicans, Bolivians, Guatemalans etc. to be the same "ethnicity" as a French or an Italian. It's outlandish.

A white Cuban, yes. An Italo-Portuguese Brazilian, yes.
