Women, who are your best friends?? Other women or men??

In my case only women really supported me in my life, have actually 0 male friends.
Strange, since lots of other women say the contrary.
True friendship depends on gender?? Share your experiences.

I am fully against male-female friendships. They almost inevitably lead to more. A woman who had a boyfriend told me that she views me as a good friend and suddendly tried to seduce me. Never will I befriend with a woman again.
Inside a committed relationship it is totally different, though. My fiancee is by far the best friend that I ever had. Nobody gets to hear more of my secrets, the same is true the other way round.

I would not recommend a man-woman friendship, unless you eventually want more. If it is not a problem now it will become a problem when one of the two friends has a partner.

Men. I only truly got along well with 3 girls, 2 who left the country by now. Men are much more laid back and easier to talk to aboit certain topics.

I actually would of guessed it to be the other way around for you, Alche... You came across to me as the kind of girl who would have much in common with guy friends.

Believe me, i have 0 male friends even if i try to be as more friendly as possible.
They don't want me, don't ask me why. On the contrary, i have 1000000 female friends who do whatever possible for me...

IMO, there is no such thing as "the friend zone." Either there is mutual attraction or there isn't. It doesn't matter if you are friends. Obviously many people will be "friends" with someone of the opposite gender just for a shot at changing their mind, and are just headed for disappointment, frustration, and likely resentment. I do agree that having friends of the opposite sex that you are attracted to is playing with fire, if you are already attached to someone else.

I've few really good friends who are guys and lost few due to completely insane jealousy of their GFs for absolutely no reason at all. Most of the people I call friends are trusted ones, since our childhood.

Women are incredibly spiteful towards each other, even women they call friends. What they do to their friends I would never do to one of mine or even expect it to happen to me. They behave differently around their guy friends. It's very shocking to me how they try to undermine each other. I'm speaking in general of course but it's something I've seen too often.
