I find it hard to believe that the Goths and Longobards, not to mention the Austrians, didn't have a reasonable influence on the genetics of N. Italy.
Longobards were only a fraction of the population, their influence is negligible. Austrians sent only some governor, but there weren't population settlements. Austrian dominated Lombardy from 1706 to 1860, and Veneto and Friuli from 1797 to 1866.

I don't believe that there were Celts or Illyrians in Central Italy. Not saying it's false, just that I don't believe so.
Senones were in Central Italy, the presence of Illyrians is disputed

There was also a Longobard principality in Salerno until Norman times.

I don't dispute that Apulia (other than Salento, which should be a region of its own) was originally Illyrian. However, modern Apulia has more Greek influence than Illyrian. Perhaps the Byzantines are to blame.
Principality of Salerno come from the split of Duchy of Benevento. Apulia had also a strong influence from Samnites and was partially under Longobards.

Italians as a whole are a mixture of European and Afro-Asiatic populations.

1521. Austrians put Francesco Sforza on the throne of Milan as their puppet. 1535, he dies without heir, and the Habsburg Emperor Charles V of Austria takes over. It passes to his son, the King of Spain in 1559, but Spain is ruled by another branch of the same family, so the Austrian politicians in power in Milan were left there.

I've never seen anything about Samnites in Apulia.

Only two groups have had significant influence in Italy: Celto-Italic tribes and the Afro-Asiatic slaves brought by the Romans. I find it absurd that southern Italians claim Greek heritage as a result of colonization almost 3000 years ago not to mention the fact that ancient Hellenes would have been racially pred. Nordic and have no relation to either modern Greeks or even less so with modern southern Italians.

From 1559 to 1707 there were Spanish hegemony all over Italy, The governors were Spanish not Germans.

I've never seen anything about Samnites in Apulia.
Samnite nflux wren't in all Apulia, but in the northen part, in Capitanata.

I don't think Africans had such a heavy influence, but ME populations did.

in hungary we don't really make difference between north and south italians. we just call north italians italian and that's it. Stereotypes about italians here: pasta, pizza, tomato.

That's more southern. Pizza is from Naples. Northern Italians prefer cream sauces and pesto and polenta and stuff like that.

I'm talking about in origin. Obviously, pizza is all over the world. Even Muslim and Jewish countries have pizzerias, albeit with restrictions.
