This is a terrible analogy, there are certain laws in nature which make possible the formation of heavy atoms or evolution and so on and you don't need something to make something, now that we know evolution is a proven scientific fact everything is very clear to us, of course we don't know where did the universe come from but no one does.

The multiverse theory is widely eccepted amongst physicists now, so the begining origin of this universe even if it was known still wouldnt answer everything.
Not to mention in other universes everything might work under diferent laws that dont aply in our known universe.

After looking through this; everything is only a matter of perception concerning such things. Any monumental thinking has to be balanced out with experiences through life. One's matter of philosophy is merely a reflection of how they subjective feel/ or lack of if one is in an apathetic state of mind that may regress to either a nihilistic mindset (if there is an entire suppression of one's motivations/wants) when the misanthropic connotations branches into this or a misanthropic mindset that regresses towards be a nihilist when one's negative feelings are suppressed entirely/ or becomes more pathological in nature when one's perception of the world fuels it even further.

The preoccupation with one's existence is all connected to one's consciousness; merely trying to rationalize our experiences in the world around us with underlying zeal to formulate underlying perceptions that branch into associated notions that runs from a common premise that eventually progresses to a matter of philosophical theory that reflects what the organism is trying to rationalize that piles on through our lifespan; from beginning to end. When the simple answer is that positive selection that was crucial to our existence today as well cosmological positioning near the sun provided viable growth from unicellular to multi-cellular organismic growth that evolved further into complex organisms today. It was merely the existential growth of our complex minds/consciousness that enables us wanting to find an answer to satisfy the very enigmatic complex questions that has been molded in such a way that stimulates our minds further. So the very notions throughout these experiences get revised and molded over and over again until one finds their own "answer." The only way to find an "answer" is to simply live in the moment and be satisfied with the simply notion that one is living right now that is technically living through one's experiences as we speak. Life is simply how you make of it; nothing more, nothing less.
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”
