They still haven't forgotten plastic surgery. Somehow I think plastic surgery is another manifestation of the Korean psyche but also other Asians to an extent. Plastic surgery is in opposition to Confucianism because Confucianism prohibits the disfigurement of the body and hair.

We are given our body, skin and hair from our parents; which we ought not to damage. This idea is the quintessence of filial duty. (身體髮膚，受之父母，不敢毀傷，孝至始也。)
