It sounds raspy and the s-sound is so different but I guess that's just because everybody is accustomed to hear their version of spanish, so...spanish is spanish as long as you understand each other.

It sounds like Spanish to me, but them again, it has been so long I don't hear Spanish that I no longer recognize the accents...except for that Murcia guy.
