    There are two Chechen desserts that one could classify as cookies, but I couldn't find examples online. I had to look hard enough as it is for the following:

    Howl


    Garzni-Howl


    Deman-Howl


    It's hard to describe what the Howls actually are and taste like, so I won't even bother.

    Ghabqi-Chepalgash (Pumpkin pancakes, also called Khingalsh)

    It is,just regionall differences,bosnian halva doesnt look like your normal arab or turkish halva either,but it still is

    and even its name says it comes from halva(howl)
