They look like faces I see amongst modern Sicilians, except with more facial hair. That one cousin I have posted, looks just like them and even has the facial hair.

They do not look like sicilians, but more like balkanites with more med input.

A mix of dinarid, pontid and mediterranid or gracil form maybe.

Med, Dinarid and CM dominate. But for many of them multiple statues exist with differing depictions. Most are also quite idealized. The paintings are obviously also the interpretation of some artist.

Based on the OP and additional googleing:

    1.Thucydides: Dinaro-Med
    2.Euripides: Dinaro-CM + Med
    3.Hippocrates: Dinarid/Armenoid

    4.Democritus: Alpino-CM
    5.Aristotle: Dinaro-CM
    6.Aeschylus: Dinaro-Med

    7.Demosthenes: Dinaro-Med
    8.Epicurus: Dinaro-Med
    9.Theophrastus: Dinaro-CM + Med
