    Come on. That could be expected from those without an ear, but not from you.

    Does this sound like French to you then?

    Or this sound like Italian?

    Gallo-romance version of Spanish, some obvious similiarities with Lombard and Occitan.
    Ar-H + R-X + AlX3 -> Ar-X + R+ + [AlX4]- -> H-Ar+-R + [AlX4]- -> ArR + HAlX4

    Spoiler!

    West Romance. Inbetween the morphologies of Castilian and French, probably of North Italian dialects too.

    It's not Portuguese and Spanish, it's a Gallo-Romance language closer to French than to Portuguese.

    But I'll stick with my smart-arsedness and stay with Occitan

    Sounds MUCH closer to Languedocian. Still can't get chunks of it. But once again, half of Languedocian is already moon speech to me.

    You know, it's like Frisian: it sounds Dutch in the Netherlands, and like German in Germany.

    (And this guy has a slightly Francized accent, though not by much like some. Most likely a neo-locutor.)
