Well blue eyes are the most recessive. Brown eyes are dominant to all colours but green eyes are dominant to blue. Green eyes seem to be reasonably common among Irish people although a lot of the Irish have blue eyes myself included. A lot of my family have green eyes including my daughter. Green eyes also seem to be more common in South America and places like India. Black eyes are just dark brown eyes. Blue eyes are a recessive characteristic and I've noticed that even in Australia they do seem to be decreasing. I don't believe they will completely die out but if people mix more they will become increasingly uncommon.

I can actually see green eyes increasing and blue eyes becoming less common. Countries that have mixed ancestries have more green eyed people than blue eyed. It makes sense if you know how genetics work. A lot of countries that have blue eyes in the majority are quite small population wise. A bit more immigration into these countries and blue eyes will become less. USA is a good example of how this happens.

Nobody gives a shit. But you can see it this way: there are now millions of mestizos in the Americas and even "black" and mulatto people with light eyes and/or hair. So these useless lighter traits are actually more common today on this planet than in the pre-Colombian era.

And if they fear for the end of blue eyes, if the population remains European ( no miscegenation) it's impossible for blue eyes to dissapear because except some part in south europe like sicilia, greece (not perfectly european population genetically), for the rest of dark eyed europeans they possess the genes for light eyes.

So do Middle Easterners and North Africans.
