Well, if there are 1.5 billion Indians and 1.2 billion (80%) live in India, then if the average IQ in India is 80, even if the average IQ of the other 20% is 120 (highly unlikely as even AJs and Chinese don't score that high) then the overall average racial IQ would be around 85. But like I say, it's more about education and socioeconomic factors than race.

I used SAT scores which represent 75% of all races in particular year, I compared richest Black with poorest Indian/Asian/White => not 100 samples, but almost all students' average.

If you want to set up a thread comparing race in the United States alone, go ahead. Worldwide your examples have to factor in Indians living outside the States.

It's not genetic, I'd say. Poor education system. Some of Southeast Asia actually also has IQs in the 80s. I think that is BS to say it is genetic.

To be honest, I don't think the results are accurate, if I went to a slum in California where most people were uneducated and had them do a iq test, it would average out really poorly. Statistics and percentages are based on the number of individuals and the diversity rather than focused on a specific location.

Most Indians that I know of are actually pretty intelligent, and actually speak better English than many Americans, what makes it difficult is sometimes the accent but most are born and learn English as a first or second language.

Yeah, It always baffles me that Indians only make up 0.9% of the United States population yet completely own the Spelling and Geography Bees. Also, there are plenty of other immigrant groups, including other Asians, that immigrate to US and they don't come close to achieving that same kind of success in Bees. Of course, there's far more to judging success than just academic competitions, but for whatever reason, Indians are unparalleled in that area.
