Anyway, Istanbul is the whitest part of Turkey.. try something from the east and you'll see a difference.

Out of 85 MPs Istanbul has, 19 were born in Istanbul, while 23 were born in eastern Turkey.

All of them can pass in Greece and look fairly similar to Aegean islanders --a few of these even look pan-Balkan.

All of them EXCEPT:

Please you can speak about Greece, but do not include Balkan here. Only a few can pass as native balkaners of pure heritage ( at least in the case of albanians). And only 2 are pan-balkan looking.

There are also 3 who can pas in central europe.

Many Istanbul MPs can pass in Greece cuz that region is one of the most European looking region in Turkey..I am not surprised by those pics..
I know some Turkey students from Istanbul studying in the US, most can pass as European/Greek .

Istanbul is a mixed region with immigrants from every Region, some of the posted people here are Kurds who happen to be from Eastern Anatolia.
