I think I found it Psychonaut, this is the book you were reading no?

I have it, but it is 5.6 MB and too big to post. Perhaps the Admins could remedy this?

I had no idea that the author of this was Jewish, possibly bisexual, married a Chinese woman, and sought to develop a theology that was beyond Euro- and androcentric. Anyone who cares, be warned. Whatever. I'm reading it now anyhow.

Yeah...

It's really not a great book at all. Greer's A World Full of Gods is better, but it's still from a somewhat New Age "Druidic" perspective, which, despite its academic feel, detracts from my enjoyment of the book.
