Afghanistan - There was a direct attack to US citizens and previous attacks to naval vessels.

The Korean war was started by North Korea invading South Korea. Officially, the forces defending South Korea were the United Nations, not only the USA. Communist China was not a part of the UN back then, that's how they were able to fight on the side of North Korea.

I can see it now, millions of chinese soldiers marching on washington. Then quietly laying down their arms and asking for something to eat, and if any manual labor is required.
