I was sunbathing on my deck today when I heard a couple of trees fall in the forest a couple of parcels over. There's been a lot of backhoe work over there for weeks, the property owners have been moving a lot of dirt around. Well, my educated guess is that they must have moved so much dirt that the trees must have gotten destabilized. The power was out here for about five hours, right in the middle of the baby's nap, and he can't sleep without the fan.....

I have a soft spot for so-called epic films such as The Lord of the Rings (the entire trilogy, of course), Braveheart and Gladiator, and just ordered those three on Blu-ray.
