I have no idea where my Welsh ancestry is from, but I got the information from my Great-Grandmother (my Great-Grandfather's widow) and she's very credible on the matter. Before this I thought he was pure German. My English ancestry, which comes through my Great-Grandmother is from Heanor, Derbyshire in the East Midlands.
